We Pride Ourselves On Service

Maintaining our properties to a high standard is an essential aspect of our service. Throughout the tenancy we keep in regular touch with the tenant, ensure that all our properties are maintained to the highest standard and that a tenant’s requirements and expectations are always fully met.

We Love the Old Rectory

Kirsty Craig, Managing Director of Kirsty Craig Associates, has been running her HR & Recruitment company from The Old Rectory, St Mary’s Hill, Chester for four years.

She said: “I’m not a traditional office sort of person which is why I love The Old Rectory. It has got real character, an interesting history and, being so close to the centre of the city, it’s a perfect location. I can even park at the back.

“All the tenants are really nice and we get on well with each other. It’s a very collaborative environment too. For example, I’ve helped fellow tenant Land Studio with their recruitment requirements.

“I really like Peter and Susan Richards because their tenants matter to them. They are extremely approachable and they listen.

“I’m looking to grow my business over the next few years and Peter has already told me that he doesn’t want to lose us and will do everything he can to help us expand into a bigger space. They’re just extremely lovely people to deal with.”

Fantastic Service and Location

Hanni Frankland is the owner of My Funny Valentine Bridal shop on Northgate Street, Chester.

She said: “We signed the lease with Crickhowell Properties in September 2020 and opened in April 2021 after lockdown ended.

“The building is beautiful, with its double fronted Georgian charm. The location on Northgate Street is also excellent, which is full of independent businesses and right opposite the new Chester Northgate development.

“Peter and Susan are both really lovely to deal with. Peter is extremely proactive in getting things done and very accommodating to help small businesses such as ours to succeed.”

Couldn't fault them

Amanda Smith runs Amandas Fabrics, a specialist fabrics shop, on the High Street in Mold, North Wales.

She moved into 30 High Street, a Crickhowell Property, three years ago.
She said: “I moved my business into 30 High Street three years ago just before the first Lockdown.

“The building is amazing. It’s old and listed and it has been done out really nicely. Peter is such a good landlord. Anything you need doing he sorts out straight away. It’s the first time I’ve rented from Crickhowell Properties and it’s fab.”

Finally have the Freedom I've wanted!

Richard Newton moved his businesses Bookingham Palace and Vinyl Ritchie to 98 Northgate Street in Chester in July 2022.

He said: “I sell all manner of vintage and new books and vinyl records. Before I moved to 98 Northgate Street, I was in the old Chester Market for seven years.

“Having my own premises is brilliant. It’s a complete breath of fresh air. Peter from Crickhowell Properties is a hands-on landlord who is there at the drop of a hat if you’re not sure about something. He is very relaxed and professional.

“For the first time, I feel like I’ve got the freedom to do what I want and my business has shot up exponentially since I moved in.

“My customers also love the place and I get lots of great comments. In fact, I’ve lost count of the number of people who stop to take photos of the outside of the building. I think they’re all tickled by the name of my business!”
